Our digital books have been used by thousands of students at major universities at approximately half the cost of their paper counterparts. At Publishing Intellect, we're doing something about traditional "paper" publisher's out-of-control book prices. Its those very out-of-control costs that actually got us started. While large publishing houses were passing off slightly less expensive PDF files supported only by web browsers as eBooks, we were busy making EPUB and MOBI digital books for iPads, Kindles, Readers, as well as PCs and Macs. Don't get us wrong, we're not against paper books (although our products are greener), we're against high costs that are literally keeping people from getting an education.
